Headstone Price

Headstone prices vary depending on the size and type of stone material used as well as the amount of lettering and ornamentation. Other considerations include the cemetery/plot location and concrete foundation requirements. The starting price is usually around €1000, however the average cost of a completed headstone in Cork is €1800.

Purchase & Price of Plots

Plots are only available for immediate burial and must be purchased through an undertaker. Plots are not available to purchase in some cemeteries, contact your undertaker or cemetery registrar for details.

Plots are priced at €1,830 for an internal plot and €2,030 for an external plot. Burial charges vary by cemetery.

Niches are available to purchase at the Columbarium at St James Cemetery, Chetwynd. They are priced at €800 and can be purchased through an undertaker
